National titles, Australian Team selection for MVC swimmers
Our national level swimmers did MVC proud during an intense two weeks of high quality competition at the Australian Open and Age championships in Adelaide. Melbourne Vicentre was recently honoured with multiple commendations at the 2018 Swimming Victoria and ASCTA Awards.     We are very proud of the achievements of all our swimmers and coaches.   Mack Horton accepted the award for Victoria Swimmer of the year with the President’s trophy awarded to Koti Ngawati both members of our podium squad The premier award for coaches went to Head Coach Craig Jackson, the Jack Foster Victorian Coach of the year.   Congratulations...

Farewell Greg In 2014, Greg Paltrinieri, world 1500m swimming champion, visited a friend in Melbourne that he had met through swimming and as swimmers do, joined him in training.    As it happens that friend is pretty famous in his own right for his swimming success and is our very own Mack Horton.    That month together seeded an idea in Greg’s mind to return to Australia for an extended period of time to train with both Mack and Coach Craig Jackson.  &n...
